Diana Borland attends MIPIM 2018

Our Managing Director Diana Borland and David Harrison of  Harrison Hunt took at trip to the South of France to see what the current buzz was at MIPIM.

Diana reacquainted herself with some old friends, clients, colleagues and made some new ones and enjoyed sharing her experience of setting up Sanderson Borland and our sister property development company Harrison Hunt.

In Diana’s words:

Every talk, meeting, lunch, dinner and evening drinks event I attended was filled with inspiring and intellectual individuals who all shared my passion for architecture, design and in general, the property industry. It was a pleasure talking to so many industry changing individuals of whom it would have taken months to set up meetings with back on home soil.

I am however always surprised at the volume of men along The Promenade de la Croisette which clearly reflects the weighting of the sexes in the industry and further evidence that the industry has a long way to go for women!

I look forward to be part of this change going forward in my career, mentoring and encouraging women to get into this fantastic industry. 

I thoroughly enjoyed all the events attended, sharing skills and ideas and and discussing the importance of collaboration and giving back to our communities.
