Hallhill Gardens, Dunbar

In Partnership with Harrison Hunt, Sanderson Borland was asked to lead the design team through masterplanning to construction of a housing development of various typologies in the centre of idyllic coastal town of Dunbar.

Hallhill Gardens was born and the 3 acres site comprising a collection of 37 luxury homes were designed as three and four bedroom houses. The housing  mix is identified on the masterplan and consists of semi-detached houses detached houses. Each of our house types have been lead by, designed and highly executed and the range typically benefits from a mix of styles to meet demands of modern living under consideration of orientation to maximise views and amenity, open plan living and flexible, family sized rooms for growing families with ample storage throughout.

The design principles behind the site layout have sought to create a strong sense of place with our exquisite designed homes orientated to enjoy the surrounding views and open space and play area planned within the development.

Streets within will are lined with trees and established planting and hedgerows. Aside from private garden spaces, in the heart of the site we have delicately placed our public space to provide amenity for residents of all ages, incorporating concepts of informal play area and surrounding farmland vantage points.

Construction due to start in Summer 2021.
