As a key member of the dynamic team at Sanderson Borland Architects, Matthew brings a wealth of technical expertise. Which is balanced with practical solutions with creative flare to the firm’s projects. 

In his capacity as a Senior Architectural Technologist, Matthew is entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the technical aspects of projects, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to construction. 

Matthew has built up a wealth of experience having worked nationally and internationally with private and public-sector clients. Leading large project teams to deliver a range of architectural, interior and property development projects. Matthew has built his experience in delivering high-quality private residential, large commercial and retail schemes.

Responsible for setting up and ensuring all technical standards are adhered to from both project set-up to practice standards. Maintaining high standards, Matthew is adept at building teams and strong relationships, encouraging creative thought through teamwork and design collaboration

Having developed an understanding and a passion for working with historic buildings and sensitively challenging sites and continuing his passion for sustainable design aligning with the firm’s commitment to environmentally conscious architecture. He actively champions initiatives that integrate sustainable practices into the fabric of each project, reflecting Sanderson Borland’s dedication to responsible design.
