Collaborating with our associated developers Harrison Hunt, our design team was asked to find a solution for a derelict, former Vicarage in the curtilage of a Grade I listed Church in Stockport with the development taking its name from the neighbouring church St George’s.
Our design development has explored a range of options, engaging with the local community and Stockport Council throughout, with the aim of developing high-quality family homes for Stockport.
Proposing to restore the free-style arts and crafts former St George’s Vicarage building and rework the interior to provide five new modern apartments as well as a new extension building to the North with a circulation link providing eight new apartments. In addition to this, we are proposing six new red brick two-and-a-half-storey dwellings facing the Vicarage with gardens to the rear.
