In Partnership with Harrison Hunt, SBA was asked to lead the design team to develop a proposal for new homes, Lochford Gardens, Dunbar. Taking the project from concept design through to construction in the centre of the idyllic coastal town of Dunbar.
Set over a 3-acre site comprising of 37 luxury homes was designed as a mix of three and four-bedroom houses. The housing mix consists of semi-detached houses and detached houses. Each of our house types has been led by, designed, and highly executed that benefits from a mix of styles to meet the demands of modern living. Consideration of orientation to maximise views and amenity space, open plan living and flexible, and family-sized rooms for growing families with ample storage throughout.
The design principles behind the site layout have sought to create a strong sense of place. With homes orientated to enjoy the surrounding views and open space planned within the development.
Furthermore the streets within will be lined with trees and established planting and hedgerows. Aside from private garden spaces, in the heart of the site, we have delicately placed our public space that will provide amenity space for residents of all ages. Incorporating concepts of informal play areas and surrounding farmland vantage points.
Construction of Lochford Gardens Phase 1 of 4 phases is well underway, with completion of Phase 1 aiming for 1st quarter of 2024.
