SBA was engaged by Housing Plus Group to develop a redundant former council office building in Westgate, Bridgnorth into a new residential development. Taking the project from the initial concept stages to currently undertaking the technical and tender drawings.
Situated in an established residential suburb in Westgate, Bridgnorth, surrounded by 19th and 20th-century homes, our proposal intends to work with the existing context of the site whilst creating an entirely new, high-quality housing development.
This development will provide a mix of housing types with an abundance of public and private green spaces for residents to enjoy. The masterplan has been designed to allow permeability across the site and integration of new residents with the existing community.
The properties take architectural and material inspiration from the surrounding area, incorporating sharp-pitched roofs and a brick material palette whilst subtle changes to brick types and detailing adds interest and distinction from its context.
The development will offer a mix of two, three, four and five bedroom houses.
